Anyone that has a drop-down set of steps to the attic knows those steps are already tricky and often not very stable. When you are trying to carry a big box full of holiday décor or unused items on these steps to get them put away, it's even more difficult and dangerous. Yet, the attic is prime storage for most needs. Now, there's an easy way to get these items into the ladder with ease. It's the Attic Lift Ladder invention.
What Is This Ladder Invention?
The Attic Lift Ladder is designed to make moving items into the attic simple to do. The device is very easy to use. To install it, the user unfolds the lift support arms. These attach directly to the ladder's steps. Then, the user folds down the lifting platform and connects the hand winch to the mount and cable. Once in place, it's then attached to the ladder, and the device is ready to use. It's that simple.
To use it, a person just needs to place their items onto the platform itself. Then, they use the winch to turn and crank the lift up the platform to the attic. It is then easy enough to push off and store the item in the attic without any need to actually carry it physically up the steps. It's that easy to use.
This device is able to be used wherever it is designed. It can be retrofitted into existing attic ladders very easily. Once the user is done with it, they can easily store the device and reattach it whenever they need or want to do so.
Why Is Attic Lift Ladder So Valuable?
Inventors Charles Phillips and Cameron Phillips of Murrells Inlet, SC designed the Attic Lift Ladder to be super easy to use. They needed a solution to hoist heavy boxes filled with Christmas decorations up the steps, but this two-man job was still backbreaking. They worked to create a lift that would do most of the work for them, making any need to use the attic for storage easy to manage.
The device allows for containers to be put up into the attic or brought down. It takes all of the strain off a person from having to carry those boxes. And, it helps to minimize the risk of items toppling down during the lifting process, too.
The Attic Lift Ladder is available for licensing and manufacturing opportunities.
